Julianna Bass dazzles us with her recent Spring/Summer 2017 collection, curated by a ladylike sense of style. Minimal patterns, like a solid colored off-the shoulder dresses, a pastel pink turtleneck halter dress and black cutout long sleeved turtleneck and short ensemble enunciated such a perspective. As dresses presented a thematic design direction for this season’s offerings, it was indefinitely the placement of prints and statement colors that provided standout pieces.
The one and only explicit print of the collection was presented on a sheath dress. In a subtler manner, a sheer tribal print draped over a monochromatic white collared dress. Where silhouette and design dictate aesthetic, so does the prettiest of prints define style. Julianna Bass has accomplished both beautifully.
