Heroism might not look like you pictured it as a kid, but there isn’t a man alive who once didn’t dream of becoming a cowboy. The guns drawn, tumbleweed blowing, shoot-em-up kind. Who saves the day, galloping off into the rose-colored sunset of the rugged Arizona and New Mexican desert. The official catalyst for Brett Johnson’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection.
Tall cacti set the scene, looming on either side of the models who wore tangerine colored Japanese denim, Navajo-inspired knitwear, and pink double breasted suiting. These offerings probably wouldn’t survive a shoot out in the lawless lands of the Wild Wild West, but the sunset color palette and indulgent fabrications could make any bandit surrender.
