What once started as a luxury basics line has since blossomed into a full-fledged, and might I add, delicious sportswear collection. Delicious like a suede jacket with a sensuous silver zipper down the back, a Chinese dragon embroidered blazer in chocolate with matching shorts, or an egg shell colored silk blouson. Yummy. Some pieces bolder than others, but equally Rideau.
A young made-to-order atelier, each piece is manufactured in-house, in their New York City design studio, and takes about seven days to manufacture. This mix of urbanity and old school technique, not only make Rideau unique to American menswear but certainly, one to watch.
