The young British menswear brand, Represent, presented their Spring/Summer 2017 collection at a dark and barren venue in Paris, a prime location for a range of ready-to-wear silhouettes in washed cotton and patchwork denim. Inspired by the dark side of its British heritage and influences from skinhead culture in the nineties, this season’s color scheme didn’t wander too far from the bleak browns, the grungy beiges and blood reds. Touting light-wash jackets and vests, elongated shirts, track jackets and hoodies, Represent focused on the needs of the consumer; there’s no doubt this collection will be an easy-seller come spring.
