Lou Dalton’s Spring/Summer 2017 collection nods to springtime showers and outdoor staples — softly tailored raincoats, field jackets and anoraks included. A shiny black PVC parka, matching cropped trousers and a plastic-like blue-check Chesterfield coat all showcase the British designer’s keen eye for cool fabrication, while a jacquard in warm tones across T-shirt shapes, bombers and bermudas reinforce the moorland inspiration behind the collection. An incredibly strong collection for Dalton, this season will certainly be rewarded in the months to come for its commercial ease and effortless attitude.
